Caloosahatchee Mindfulness offer a variety of programs, classes, and courses, as well as individual mentoring. We can also work with you to develop a program that meets the needs of your staff, clients, and community. Below is a list of our current offerings.   The cost of a course should not be a barrier to you.  If paying full price is a hardship, please contact us.     These online meditations are offered by Maggie Stevens, Caloosahatchee Mindfulness Chair. Every Friday morning and evening at 10:00am and 5:00pm, meditation sessions include a 20 meditation with initial guidance and then silent sitting. After the meditation there is a group discussion, 5 minute silent reflection, and then thought for the week and check out. These meditations are offered at no cost and no experience necessary.

    Caloosahatchee Mindfulness will hold an in-person sitting meditation session on the 1st AND 3rd Monday of each month. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome. The session will include sitting and walking meditation, and a post-meditation discussion. Chairs and cushions are provided. A dana (offering) of $5 is requested to help defray the cost of space rental.

    The first session will be on September 16, 2024, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. It will be held at the Lotus Blossom Clinic, 6710 Winkler Rd #2, Fort Myers, (corner of Winkler & Cypress Lake Drive)

    This book group is free to all Caloosahatchee Mindfulness members and we welcome others to visit and see if it is a good fit for you before joining our organization. The book group studies and shares books on mindfulness practices to create a happier and healthier life.     Begining on November 13, the Book Club is reading: Going toPoeces Without Falling Apart: A Buddhist Perspective on Wholeness by Mark Epstein, M.D. An intimate guide to self-acceptance and discovery that offers a Buddhist perspective on wholeness within the framework of a Western understanding of self.

    Discussion is focused on understanding how the author’s words and concepts are relevant to our daily lives. The book club is free to all Caloosahatchee Mindfulness members.

    Walking in nature is a way to bring awareness to the present moment and all the beauty that surrounds you, and can be a form of walking meditation. Thich Nhat Hanh says that the practice of mindful walking is a profound and pleasurable way to deepen our connection with our body and the earth.

    We welcome you to join us at local parks for Mindful Walking the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 - 9:30am. We meet at 8:45 am at Lakes Park. Turn right when entering the park and drive to the end of the parking lot. The community garden will be straight ahead. We gather there and walk through the garden area where bikes are not allowed

    The parks chosen have some shade and restrooms. Be sure to bring sun protection and water. There is a charge for parking. This is a free offering through Caloosahatchee Mindfulness. Guests are welcome. 



 CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND CREDIT POLICY

Caloosahatchee Mindfulness is part of the non-profit Hearts' Path to Mindful Living, Inc., a community-driven organization that supports mindfulness programs. This cancellation and refund policy is designed to accommodate the time and resources required to plan and execute these programs, including the cost of materials, content development, hardware and software, food and refreshments, facilitator fees, and room accommodations, when applicable.  

As a nonprofit, we keep program fees as low as possible.   It is difficult for us to absorb the entire cost of late cancellations and no-shows.  Continuing to do so would ultimately increase the cost of our programs.

CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND CREDIT POLICY

Our live events require a minimum registration to be beneficial.  A registrant who provides notice more than 48 hours before the start of a fee-based workshop, meeting, or informational session will receive a CREDIT to be used for another Caloosahatchee Mindfulness event.  NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.  NO CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED WITH LESS THAN A 48-HOUR NOTICE.

OUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Caloosahatchee Mindfulness reserves the right to cancel any event.  If a cancellation occurs, registrants will receive a full monetary refund or can choose to keep a credit on file with us.
